Apple Arcade Games on Android in Kenya: Q1 2025 Performance

In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of top Apple Arcade games on the Android platform in Kenya showcased varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the top five games based on Sensor Tower data.

Temple Run from Imangi Studios began the quarter with weekly downloads at around 21K and saw a gradual decrease, stabilizing to approximately 9.3K by the end of March. Revenue peaked early in February at $16, then dropped to zero for the remainder of the quarter. Active users started at nearly 176K and declined steadily, ending the quarter at about 113K.

Asphalt 8 - Car Racing Game by Gameloft SE showed a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting at 11K and closing the quarter at 9.1K. Weekly revenue remained relatively stable, peaking at $68 by the end of March. Active users saw a dip mid-quarter but ended with a slight resurgence to 33K.

Hill Climb Racing from Fingersoft experienced a consistent decline in downloads from 13K to 8.1K. Revenue witnessed minor fluctuations, peaking at $28 in the last week of March. The game’s active users decreased steadily, starting at 110K and ending at 63K.

Checkers by Gamma Play maintained a steady download rate, beginning at 6.7K and ending at 5.4K. Despite consistent downloads, the app did not generate revenue during this period. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around the 10K mark throughout the quarter.

My Talking Tom from Outfit7 Limited saw a decrease in downloads from 9.5K to 5.3K. Revenue varied, peaking at $23 mid-March. Active users showed a declining trend early in the quarter, stabilizing around 50K.
